HiTech Provides RIOS/R2 Lessons Learned
Dallas, TX – (June 17, 2011): HiTech Assets Inc. Operations
Manager Sam Groves presented HiTech’s RIOS/R2 Insights and Lessons Learned during
the Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries (ISRI) Gulf Coast Chapter Convention
in Grapevine, Texas.
Groves shared with convention goers lessons learned, tips
and insights from HiTech’s successful RIOS/R2 Certification campaign. Tips
included, ensuring Senior Management commitment, sending personal to RIOS Train
the Trainer events, selecting the right RIOS Action Team members and involving all
employees in the certification process by communications, training and ensuring
everyone knows their role in the QEH&S system.
HiTech Assets Inc. became RIOS/R2 Certified in October, 2010
and has participated in several seminars and educational sessions to share
insights into the certification process to help other recyclers achieve
certification.
This year’s Gulf Coast Chapter Convention and Exposition was
held at the spectacular Gaylord Texan Report and Convention Center overlooking
beautiful Lake Grapevine. This event entitled “Ingenuity / Inspiration”
provided recyclers with outstanding networking opportunities as well as
informative educational sessions and exhibits.
